Becky is an award-winning journalist and copywriter, working predominantly within automotive for the past ten years. She has a portfolio covering editorial and copywriting for BBC Top Gear, What Car?, Auto Express and the Aston Martin F1 Team, with PR and social media experience on a number of additional car brands. She was recognised in the Autocar Great Women in Automotive Awards in 2021, and recently submitted her paper discussing the role of Twitter in the 2021 Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. She is currently completing her MSc Marketing, focused on the role of women within modern automotive advertising.
In 2023, she swapped cars for planes as copywriting lead for the relaunch of online travel brand, First Choice, including building and development of TOV across the full brand. She led the creation of copy across all touchpoints, from booking journey content and product information, to brand messaging and direct response.

New work - Ford Capri
New for July 2024 – Ford's exciting new electric SUV, the Ford Capri, has launched across Europe.
In my work at VML, I led copy creation for the website, incorporating TOV, brand guidelines and product specifications, alongside UX recommendations, for 20 European markets.
